DARRELL NELSON II, MS.

Darrell is a Data Scientist with experience in Flash Memory and semiconductor equipment who is transitioning into big data, focusing on computational chemistry, renewable energy, and catalyst synthesis.

Before receiving his Masters in Data Science, Darrell served as a Product Support Engineer for Applied Materials (AMat) where he enhanced flash memory processes by optimizing performance and cost analytics for Producer Tools via data visualization and machine learning.

A client facing product engineer, Darrell responsibly oversaw the acquisition of numerous contractual agreements between AMat and Micron Technologies, Inc., working with multidisciplinary teams to produce high performing flash memory devices that improved the quality of the product and the credibility of Applied Materials as a whole. When he is not working, Darrell spends his time playing flag football and watching the latest animes.
